Liver Pain

Learn the details about liver pain.

Toxic Overload

Toxic overload is when the body does not detoxify itself as quickly as new toxins and pollutants enter into it, leading to an excess. Liver pain may result in a patient experiencing toxic overload.

Symptoms

Toxic overload symptoms can vary significantly from one individual to the other, and in particular cases or underlying toxins. The following are some possible symptoms which may be present in a toxic overload condition:

Allergic reactions
Cardiovascular problems
Confusion
Coughing
Depression
Flu-like symptoms
Gastrointestinal problems
Headache
Hives
Irritability
Joint pain
Muscle pain
Runny nose
Sneezing
Stuffy nose

Causes

The underlying cause of toxic overload is the excessive amount of chemicals or other toxins in the body.

Diagnosis and Treatment

Diagnosis of toxic overload may be made by a doctor or medical professional. In some cases, tests may be run for certain toxins.

Depending upon the problematic toxin and the individual case, removing enough of the toxin to stop or at least decrease the severity of the toxic overload may be a viable treatment method. If possible, it may be recommended to avoid additional exposure to the toxin. Some symptoms may also be treatable for a measure of relief for the patient.
